5-Step Lawn Application Program

Get a dense, lush and green lawn while preventing weeds from taking over with our fertilization and weed control services. Weeds won’t stand a chance!


Early Spring - Slow Release Fertilizer/ Crabgrass Control: 

  • Granular crabgrass pre-emergent w/ fertilizer

Late Spring - Broadleaf Weed Control & Grub Control: 

  • Liquid weed control for Dandelion, Clover, Chickweed, Plantain, Purslane 
  • Liquid grub control- Acelepryn Xtra insecticide provides excellent, season-long grub control. This same application for grubs will control many key surface feeding pests including several species of caterpillars as well as annual bluegrass weevil (ABV)
  • Must be watered in lawn 7 days or less after application.
  • This does not control Nutsedge or Tall Fescue 

Early Summer - Fertilizer: 

  • Granular summer fertilizer
  • Does not include grub control- this is now included with late spring application
  • Promotes a healthy lawn in the tough summer months

Early Fall - Broadleaf Weed Control: 

  • Liquid weed control for Dandelion, Clover, Chickweed, Plantain, Purslane, Creeping Charlie, Purple Violet 
  • This does not control Nutsedge or Tall Fescue.

Late Fall - Wintering Fertilizer:  

  • Slow release fertilizer with high nitrogen
  • Promotes healthy lawn going into the winter and a quicker green up in the spring

Wells Hollow is now offering foundation perimeter pest control!  Choose up to six monthly treatments to keep pests away.  Treatments provide up to 6 weeks of control for targeted insects


Treatment is applied 3' up the foundation, 3' away from the home, will not harm annuals, perennials, pets or people 


Pests controlled- Ants, Carpenter Ants, Fire Ants, Armyworms, LadyBeetles, Bees, Beetles ,Biting Flies, Boxelder Bugs, Centipedes, Chiggers, Chinch Bugs, Cicadas, Clover Mites, Cockroaches, Crickets, Cutworms, Dichondra Flea Beetles, Earwigs, Elm Leaf Beetles, Firebrats, Fleas, Flies, Gnats, Grasshoppers, Hornets, Japanese Beetles, Midges, Millipedes, Moths, Scorpions, Silverfish, Sod Webworms, Sowbugs (Pillbugs), Spider Mites, Spiders (including Black Widow, Brown Recluse and Hobo Spiders), Springtails, Stink Bugs, Ticks (including Brown Dog Ticks), Vinegar (Fruit) Flies, and Wasps.

Mowing can be a hassle, but with Wells Hollow, it’s easy. 


We offer mowing services for the entire season.  We mow 1 time / week for the growing season.  (Extenuating circumstances may change this like the drought last year) but that is the schedule we run in a normal year.


In addition to mowing, we trim (if applicable), blow off all clippings from driveways and sidewalks, and can add additional services such as edging.

Keep your lawn healthy by aerating to let air, water, and nutrients penetrate the soil into the roots of your grass. Aeration can help alleviate soil compaction and help to grow a more lush, full lawn.
